Our Founder
Dr. Kent Takemoto, M.D. "Dr. T"
Dr. Takemoto brings decades of experience optimizing care for injured workers across insurance, managed care, and clinical settings. As a former Medical Director of a major workers' compensation insurer and National President of Coventry Workers' Compensation Managed Care, he's seen the system from every angle.
Now serving as Chief Medical Officer of OccuDoc Live, he's reimagining occupational medicine delivery to improve outcomes while reducing costs.
Based in Southern California, he lives with his wife, Joanne, and their dog Henry. When he's not advancing occupational medicine, he enjoys family time, kickboxing, and tending to his landscape.
Board Certified Providers
All OccuDoc Live providers are experts in complex musculoskeletal injuries with many holding Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R). Their occupational medicine expertise ensures they understand the unique clinical and documentation needs of workers' compensation cases.
